With so many
things to say about New York Wheelchair van rentals it needed to be a two part
feature. If you missed it, catch up with New York Wheelchair van rentals: Get to the Game on Time Part 1. The struggles this season for the New York
metropolitan area teams were numerous and the triumphs were few. It has been
argued that the best ability is availability, and well, New York showed up. There
is more than enough disappointment to go around as the struggles dissipate into
all four major disciplines: Mets, Giants, Jets, Islanders, Rangers, Nets and
Knicks. One shining note is that ticket prices should be dropping and getting
there is easy when you choose New York Wheelchair Van Rentals from Wheelers
handicapped accessible vans.
As for the
NBA, there is not a whole lot of positive things to say about the New York Knicks. They won the
last four games of the regular season and looked as if they would sneak into
the payoffs as an 8 seed. But in true Knicks fashion they ended up falling short and missing the
playoffs…again. This time only by one game. A late show of heart wasn’t enough
and the age old saying of “When you lose 45 games, it is hard to make the
playoffs.” Rang true once again.
Across the
bridge in Brooklyn, the newly branded Brooklyn Nets are no longer the laughing
stock of the Metropolitan area. The managed to pick up a 6 seed in the Eastern
conference and with the aging but experienced former Celtics on their team,
they could be a sleeper for a first round victory over Toronto. Rapper Drake
has made a show of supporting the Toronto Raptors while Jay Z has fired back
and is standing with the Nets. In the classic showdown of overpaid rappers
cheering for mediocre franchises, let’s hope that Pierce and Garnett can keep
their focus on the court long enough to be swept by the Pacers or Heat in the
next round.
Shifting
gears to the NFL and the upcoming draft, don’t expect much from the New York
Giants this year. A 7-9 finish last year and plenty of holes on both offense in
defense mean that this team will be struggling again. Eli has managed to become
a non-factor after two Super Bowl rings and this New York team should be on
track for another .500 season. But like the Yankees: Mets metaphor, it could be
worse for the Giants.
The Jets
once again found a way to embarrass themselves in the 2013 season. Just when
you thought it couldn't possibly get any worse, they found a new low. The Jets were horrendous, laughable and a
team barely a mother could love, but somehow managed to finish .500. I know
what you’re thinking, that’s not so bad, but it is so bad. The Jets won 3 of
the last 4, missed the playoffs and by doing this shot themselves in the foot.
Now they have the 18th draft choice which is well out of range for
an elite player. They are just good enough to not get a top prospect yet bad
enough to perpetually miss the playoffs. A true nightmare for a New York fan.
With that
being said there is a bright side to this. New York Wheelchair Van Rentals have
never been more convenient to get you to the games. Ticket prices are dropping
like Sanchez passes and the vans roadside pickup is easier to find than a fair weather Yankees fan. Wheelers Accessible Van rentals always finishes first and is more
reliable than the Mets missing the playoffs.
