Hair loss is a depressing for anyone but recent studies have shown that women who have to deal with the ordeal of losing their hair go through a deeper depression than your average man.  In studies conducted women showing signs of early hair loss have been found to be impacted negatively in their self confidence and their appeal to their partners.  A large number of these women also develop severe anxiety and depression.

nettle for hair loss

This is not surprising considering that from a young age women are constantly praised for their beautiful locks.  Men do not receive anywhere near as much attention as women when it comes to their hair.  It seems like the only time people pay attention to a man’s hair is when he is losing it.

A study of 505 women was conducted in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.  Out of these women 28 percent were shown as showing signs of hair loss. 8 percent of the group showed having serious problems of hair and one percent were going bald.  The majority of these women (69 percent) felt that healthy hair plays a huge part in their self image.  55 percent of the same women said healthy hair is a major component in attracting attention from the opposite sex and building self confidence.

It is always a good idea to fully maintain your hair.  A proper diet and proper washing and brushing techniques can go a long way in preserving your beautiful locks.  There have also been studies on the use of nettle extract.  Nettle for hair loss may help maintain your hair or even promote hair growth.  Civilizations have been using the nettle plant for over 2000 years, it’s no wonder that we now are using in nettle for hair loss shampoo.  When purchasing a hair loss shampoo always try to go the natural route.  The last thing you want is to introduce harmful chemicals to you already delicate hair.
